This week, we kicked off our Human Body unit by learning all about ourselves and our body parts! 🧠🖐️🦶

Today our toddler friends participated in a fun life-size body-tracing activity. One child lay on the paper while the teacher traced around their body, and the class worked together to identify and point to different body parts—such as the head, arms, hands, legs, and feet.

Our preschoolers brought math into their exploration by using linking cubes to measure the length of different body parts. Learning about ourselves is so much fun! 🌟

🐝 Bee-Bot Thursday!

During today’s enrichment activity, our preschoolers reviewed color cards and then programmed Bee-Bot to travel to their favorite colors. Through playful, hands-on exploration, they practiced color recognition, sequencing, problem-solving, and early coding skills! 🤖🌈

Even though we only had a short two-day weekend between school years, we still wanted to make the first day feel extra special! 🐴✨

This morning, Ms. Amina dressed up as a horse and greeted our students and families at the door, bringing lots of smiles and laughter. The fun even inspired one of our children to build a horse with blocks during playtime! 🧱🐴

We are so happy to welcome everyone back and wish all of our MI School children and families a bright, joyful, and wonderful 2026–2027 school year! 💛🌟

That’s a wrap on a successful 2025–2026 school year! 🎉

Today, our MI School children celebrated learning with one last water-play day, delicious popsicles, face painting, and a special show-and-tell featuring a robot made from recycled materials by Summer and her family. They also enjoyed watching a 3D printer in action! 🤖💦🎨

Now, we’re ready to move forward into a bright and exciting 2026–2027 school year! ✨

We can’t believe it’s already the last week of the 2025–2026 school year! 🤖

At MI School, we always wrap up our Technology Unit—and the school year—with Robot Week! Today, our students read robot-themed books, sang songs, and enjoyed creative robot activities.

👶 Our babies made adorable robot crafts.
🧲 Our toddlers built robots with Magna-Tiles.
🤖 Our preschoolers used their imaginations to move and act like robots!

What a fun way to celebrate learning, creativity, and technology!
