Its that time of year folks! One of my favorite ways to spend a evening is on the lake edge waiting to hear that reel to scream!! Get out there and enjoy it!

Lake st Catherine offered up some beautiful largemouth bass this afternoon. Left work 2 hours early to hit the water and I got into some big ol largemouth! This was an awesome learning experience, ive fished this Lake for years and im always learning new things. These bass where on very shallow weeds by thick rock piles and points. They where glued to those weeds. Never have I caught them like that.

Proud dad moment!!! The boy wanted to go fishing this breezey afternoon and after catching a few perch he hooked and landed and beautiful drum outta the poultney river. What a fun fight and experience!

Snuck out for some blue bird sky fishing! Lake Champlain never disappoints. The day started off with catching a variety of species like bowfin, chain pickeral, a few crappie and a very aggressive bullhead. But once we found the bait fish it was game on. It was a slam fest on those 2-3 pound bass. No giants today but we just caught em ! We used a rattle trap for any hard bank line and in the weeds its was a variety of shallow running crank baits and creature baits.

First day on champlain was a success! Came into a nice little pocket of em and one nice chunk! Felt good to stretch the boats legs out with a nice run up the lake!

Well this ice season has come and gone. I hope everyone had a safe and fun ice season! I dont talk about my personal life much on social media but ive got a beautiful wife and kids (with another on the way). As a father your prioritys change. Ive been focusing on family and getting my son out there more. We Thank all the guests that came out with 802Angling this year. I very much enjoy teaching others about the sport. Spring bass fishing is here and ill be out there chasing those largemouths! Look forward to seeing everyone out there!!! Tight lines 🎣🎣🎣🎣

Best monday afternoon ive had in a while! Found some open water and caugth the first one of the year! Absolutely love stretching the boats legs after a long cold winter.

Super cold perch fishing this morning but the fish where on fire!!! They always slam this rippin rap early season like this!!
