Focusing on the needle that moves my business.

Tera’s "Letters to My Younger Self" series is a beautiful example of using syarting with what you already have.

Most of us second guess whether we're enough or we have everything together. With Terra we built on the foundation she had already created.

By sharing small snippets of wisdom gained from what she has been through, she unlocked a clear path for where her journey is going next.

Pro Tip:
Don't just live in your past; pull the gems from it. When sharing your story, move beyond just how you felt in those moments and focus on the wisdom you've gained from those experiences. That is where the true value for your audience lies.

It has been a privilege to watch the evolution of the Bold Believer podcast and work with such an insightful client like TerraBae Baker.

Tera’s journey highlights a powerful lesson for anyone starting a podcast or refining their messaging: while your past experiences and the lessons you’ve learned are foundational, they are only half of the story.

Pro Tip: Bridge the gap between where you were and where you are now. Sharing your current perspective allows your listeners to see the full arc of your evolution and the reality of how you have come through your challenges.

Don't just tell them what happened or what to do; show them the person you’ve become because of it. 💛

I'm a little long winded so comment FLOW for the full breakdown.

Choose the digital product that actually delivers results for your audience. Let me know if this helps you stop overthinking or if you're just more complicated after this.

Tracking your opt-ins and knowing how many listeners are actually clicking your links is the only metric that truly matters.

Comment CAPTURE to learn how to track opt-ins and build a high-converting funnel that turns your episodes into a lead generation machine.

Somebody needs to hear this.

Terra went through too much, not to share her growth journey.

"Enough is enough. If I say I want to do it and I don't, what does that say about me?"

That's what got her to take the next step. Have you been obedient to your calling?

If you’ve been thinking about starting (or quitting) a podcast, listen...

Take a look at Michael Zipperski. He relaunched his podcast in 2017 and hasn't taken a single break since. That is 9 years of an unwavering, consistent format AFTER he locked his strategy

How do you build that kind of longevity?
Define a clear strategy. Know exactly who your show is for and what it is meant to achieve.

Before you record your next episode, ask yourself: What is your podcast truly for, and is your current strategy actually working for you?

Stop telling your listeners what to do and start teaching them how to think.

Most creators overwhelm people with "to-do" lists and tools, but there is a more powerful way to build a connection. Instead of telling your listeners what to do, learn how to change how they think. By focusing on industry reframes and new perspectives, you can help your audience identify their own mistakes and find their own path forward.

Watch this case study I did on the Consulting Success Podcast to see how shifting from "to-do lists" to "new perspectives" can completely transform the experience you provide for your listeners.

I still catch myself doing this.

Wanting to soften my opinion, comparing my prices to people who seem like they offer the same service, rewording something three times because what if someone screenshots it and judges me?

And every time I have to ask myself...who am I editing this for?

It's never the person I'm actually trying to help.

We edit ourselves for friends, family, or peers we think are watching.

I'd be lying if I said the reflex was gone. It's just that now I notice it faster and I build anyway.

If you've been sitting on something: a post, an offer, a price, a boundary, because of how it might land with people who aren't even YOUR people… think about it: what are you actually protecting?
