Raiders Who Care Weekly Update! 💛

This week, 32 seniors stopped by Raiders Who Care, with 5 amazing volunteers helping make it all happen. The most popular items this week were school supplies, mechanical pencils and clothing. The current need is girls & boys deodorant.

At this time, Raiders Who Care is not accepting clothing donations, but hygiene products and monetary donations are still being accepted to help keep the program stocked and available to students. A huge thank you to the EPCHS community and all of the volunteers for their continued support and generosity!

Our Drivers Ed classes got a hands-on lesson from SRO Williams with a mock traffic stop! He walked students through what to expect during a traffic stop, what it may look and sound like, questions they may be asked, and what to do, and what not to do.

To wrap things up, volunteers even had the opportunity to hop in the car and practice going through a traffic stop themselves! A great way for our students to learn what to expect and feel more prepared behind the wheel. 🚘 City of East Peoria Police Department

💛 Raiders Who Care is back! 💛

We’re so excited to open the doors to our newly refreshed Raiders Who Care room on September 2! Raiders Who Care is an EPCHS program designed to make sure students have access to basic necessities so they can focus on what matters most - being at school and learning. Students can access a variety of items at no cost, including clothing, shoes, personal care and hygiene products, school supplies, food and snacks, and other basic necessities.

We’re grateful to everyone who helps make Raiders Who Care possible and supports our students throughout the school year! Raiders helping Raiders, that's what this program is all about!

We’ve officially started our 4th year partnering with Caterpillar’s E4L program!

We’re excited for our students who have chosen this path for the school year. Most days, students will learn valuable skills alongside mentors in Building KK, gaining hands-on experience in a real-world work environment. On Wednesdays, they’ll return to EPCHS to focus on essential workplace and life skills that will help prepare them for their futures. We’re excited to see all they accomplish this year!
