ICC Truck Driver Training

PDI's Truck Driver Training Program can get you ready for the long haul! Developed for beginning drivers or those who have minimal commercial driving experience, this course will get you ready to roll. You'll Learn:

- Log book protocol
- Map reading and trip planning

eler. At the end of the course, you'll take the Illinois Secretary of State's Class A road test. Full-time classes meet for four weeks Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Our part-time evening class meets over eight weeks, Monday through Friday, 6 pm to 10 pm. Some home study is required. When you finish the 160 clock hour course, you receive a certificate of completion. We can also help you with placement. Our program works with several trucking companies that often "pre-hire" students while they're in training. It's not unusual for students to begin work a week after training. First year annual salaries range between $33,000 and $45,000. Benefits usually include medical, dental, vision, retirement, bonuses and more. You won't have to relocate since drivers are often dispatched from home.
