After 30 years in early childhood education, I know one thing for sure—working with toddlers is a calling! It takes patience, energy, creativity, consistency, and lots of love. Toddlers learn through movement, music, exploration, repetition, and hands-on experiences—not by sitting at a desk all day.

To every toddler teacher who redirects, comforts, teaches, hugs, changes clothes, and keeps those little minds engaged: I see you, and I appreciate you! The work is demanding, but the foundation you are building is priceless. 💛

✨ 30 YEARS LATER…AND I’M STILL STANDING! ✨

Thirty years later, I am still at the podium—welcoming my parents and staff to another Back-to-School Night. Every year, it gets bigger and better, and every year, I am reminded of just how far God has brought me.

What began in a basement has grown into a beautiful blueprint, touching the lives of generations of children and families. This journey has not always been easy, but it has been absolutely amazing.

Today, I am taking a moment to give myself my flowers. 🌹 I am proud of my strength, my consistency, my commitment, and the legacy I continue to build.

Thirty years later, I’m still here, still leading, still growing, and still moving One Step Ahead! 🙏🏾🎓📚
