Our school provides an opportunity for children to “learn how to learn” by helping them discover answers through hands-on activities that stimulate their curiosity and creativity. Activities such as art, music, cooking, science, woodworking, plays and field trips give children the foundations that prepare them for elementary school and set them on a path of life-long learning. Children are encoura
ged to express themselves verbally and are taught to trace and recognize letters as a precursor to reading, spelling, grammar and handwriting skills. Our teachers motivate and nurture your child to grow intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally at their own rate. We offer classes for two, three and four year olds. All nursery through pre-kindergarten classes are limited in size . The adult to child ratio is approximately 1:4 which enables teacher flexibility within the curriculum to adapt activities according to the needs of your child. Our staff consists of NYS certified teachers and trained classroom aides. Each staff member updates their CPR/First Aid certification annually. The classrooms are spacious and well equipped with several learning centers. Our fenced in playground features a tricycle track, slides, climbing apparatus, tire swing, playhouse, sandbox and more. During inclement weather children enjoy the many activities in our indoor gym.
