It’s amazing how much fun you can have with apples, baking soda, vinegar, dish soap, & food coloring! “Erupting Apples” we learned all about chemical reactions with this science experiment!

We had a fun but light week & I can’t wait to have all our friends back in action next week!

We had a re-do day on our craft from yesterday & we’re all pleased that it actually worked out! Canvas board worked 100% better! They also had fun applying painters tape to make their own designs! They turned out super cool 😎

We’re taking it easy this week & just kinda doing things on the fly! We made puff paint sidewalk chalk (which was a lot of fun)! Then we attempted to color a picture inside of a ziplock bag for (less mess) (unfortunately it didn’t turn out as expected & the papers just ripped on us from being so wet😭) tomorrow we’ll redo on canvases instead! Sometimes you just learn as you go! “If at first you don’t succeed try, try again!” ☺️

Today we did a Harry Potter word search & an ISpy for candy & a $5 five below gift card!

Today we went for a walk (with a twist) every time we found shade we stopped, drank some water, and then did jumping jacks, or squats, or their favorite seeing who could stand on one leg the longest! After our walk we came home to make chocolate & jello frogs in continuation with our Harry Potter week! (The jello didn’t turn out as expected so if anyone has any tips or tricks on how to get jello out of the molds without ruining the form we’d love to hear them!)

This week is everything Harry Potter! While all the littles napped we made Harry Potter Wands with sticks & clay! Tomorrow when everything is dry we’ll add a little more dazzle to them! ✨

Impromptu trips are the best trips! We met up with Mrs. Amanda and played at the splash pad for a little today!

Continuing with our 4th of July theme we made a red, white, & blue poke cake! Truly a team effort 🤣 & it was delicious 🤤

We didn’t have all of our friends but some of us made our 4th of July crafts today! (I had to fix Mila’s I’m not sure how I messed up the spelling for although) must have been the lack of nap time around here today 🤪
