Her2O™ believes that gender issues in the water and sanitation sector should be front and center, always. All too often, the subtle slights, gender discrimination and sexual harassment that women experience in this sector are swept under the rug and only heard behind closed doors. This only serves to encourage these inappropriate behaviors and cultures, and further perpetuate gender inequity in this sector.
As one way of ensuring that these issues are front and center, and no longer swept under the rug to never be addressed, Her2O™ is excited to announce the launch of our I am wather™ Hear Me initiative!
