We were delighted to welcome early college students from Schenck High School today for an exciting discussion of exploration, learning, and discovery of many resources!

Students had the opportunity to learn more about college, career pathways, explore educational opportunities available, and gain valuable insight into planning for their futures and funding their education. In addition, we connected them with the supportive services available through our partners at Maine Educational Opportunity Center and Eastern Maine Development Corporation, helping students better understand the resources available to support their educational and career goals.

Thank you to the students, faculty, staff, and our partners for making today's visit so meaningful. We are proud to work together to help students build successful futures right here in Maine. East Millinocket Schools Eastern Maine Community College

A big thank you to Educate Maine for including the Katahdin Higher Education Center in your regional Computer Science Connected Learning Experience (CSCLE) tour!

We’re thrilled to be part of an initiative that highlights the important connection between education and industry, opening doors for students, connecting educators with professionals, and showcasing how local talent and innovation are helping shape Maine’s future.

Partnerships like these strengthen pathways for learners, connect classrooms to careers, and support the continued growth and vitality of the Katahdin region.

The tour provided dozens of Maine K–12 educators with an opportunity to meet professionals, learn about their roles and industries, ask questions, and explore how businesses are using technology and innovation in their work.

Welcome to the Katahdin region, Educate Maine! We’re proud to be part of this important conversation and to showcase the people, partnerships, and possibilities that make our region such a special place to learn, work, and grow. 🌲💻🎓Eastern Maine Community College Maine Community College System Eastern Maine Development Corporation
