We are pleased to announce the Grand Opening of A JOURNEY IN LEARNING LLC!!!!! We specialize in tutoring students Pre-k up to 12th grade!!! We look forward to helping, teaching and assisting students overcome any challenges they may have οΏΌin any subject.

Thank you for visiting! My name is Margie Benn and together with my husband, David, it is our pleasure to meet you and we look forward to hearing from you soon so we can discuss how we can assist you and your student.
I discovered early in my teens that I had an interest and excitement about education, and that I was going to get into a career that included teaching. I come from a large family with 5 siblings and we have 4 children of our own, who all have a multitude of different learning styles, strengths and paces. Itβs always an exciting challenge to learn and adapt to each individual studentsβ strengths to be able expand on, as well as learn and assist them where they may need special attention, so they will become independent and successful learners throughout their learning careers.
I have extensive schooling, training and experience in the field of education. I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Education from Arizona State University, as well as getting my Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. I am a licensed and certified teacher and have enjoyed over 5 years of in-class instruction in numerous classes, from Pre-K to 5th grade including being a substitute teacher up to 12th grade. Those experiences have included several different settings including special education and working closely with disadvantaged students who attend Title 1 schools. As an educator who always likes to learn the latest learning styles and options, I take continuing education classes quarterly.
David and I are very excited and we look forward to working together, in collaboration with you, as the students teaching team. We strive for and are confident that we will enhance your students personal and learning skills, create independent learning and instill more confidence, while the student starts and continues on a path towards a successful learning career. One they can take forward with them, as they take their journey in learning through school and life.
