The employment rate for individuals with autism is lower than that of other disabilities and we hope to change that for the individuals we serve.

The Genesis Programs provide a myriad of services for individuals on the autism spectrum across all ages and functioning levels and is located in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, NY. The Genesis Programs provide a myriad of services for individuals on the autism spectrum across all ages and functioning levels and is located in East Meadow, NY. The Genesis Programs includes an ABA school program, a day habilitation program, behavior clinic and family support services as well as community based group homes. Services provided through our outreach department include comprehensive assessment and evaluation services, ABA services, speech, language, and communication services, behavior intervention planning, social skills groups, vocational programs, and consultation services for individuals with autism spectrum disorders. We are excited to announce that The Eden II Genesis Programs has developed a social enterprise in order to provide job training opportunities for individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Our social enterprise is Seasons for a Reason and the participants create and sell handmade home decor items. They were selling at a kiosk in the Broadway Mall but they have given up the kiosk and will soon launch a storefront in East Meadow. Currently Seasons for a Reason can be found on Etsy. There are many opportunities for the individuals we serve to be involved in our social enterprise: from design to production to sales and marketing.
