Elm Street End of Day Pick Up Procedure
Elm Street School uses School Dismissal Manager for much of our school communication with parents. If you are a returning parent, you should already have the app. If not, there will be instructions sent home on the first day with that info.
Here are some general guidelines-
Traffic is ONE WAY at Elm. You must enter from 191 and exit onto the Hadley Lake Road.
USING THE APP-
Enter the school lot, park, and dismiss your child with the app.
A staff member will es**rt your child to your vehicle (grades pre-K - 5).
Once you have all of your children, exit the school lot.
If your child has forgotten something- Wait until you have all of your children and then walk them into the school. Please do not send them back across the busy parking lot unattended.
WITHOUT THE APP-
Enter the school lot, park, and enter the main entrance to the office.
Communicate with the office who you are picking up.
Wait in the hall next to the office until your child/children have been brought to you.
No parents should go down or up the halls until all students have been dismissed.
There will be bumps to be smoothed out the first week. Please be patient as we ensure the safety of all students.
