Our students had a great day on the Future Path field trip to the 911th Airlift Wing Air Force Reserve Base in Coraopolis today. 
Thanks to Mr. Saphore for being our tour guide and organizing the various presentations.

From the athletic field to the garden bed, our students have been busy shining! ✨

🏆 Champions Day Victory at Canfield High School! Our students with special abilities had an amazing game day experience! After making a grand entrance out through the tunnel and onto the turf, our athletes competed in adapted football, track, soccer, tennis, and golf~proudly earning Champions Day medals! 🏅 ⚽ 🎾 ⛳

🌱 The learning keeps growing! Through The Ohio State University's year-round raised garden program, "Growing Teachers Throughout the Season," our students have been planting radishes, peas, and cilantro, along with indoor tomatoes! 🍅🥬

We are so proud of our hardworking learners! ❤️

Congratulations, Abram!

Abram Rettos will be representing Beaver Local High School at the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference (HOBY) this June at John Carroll University. Founded in 1958, HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth and volunteers to a life dedicated to leadership, service and innovation. Their leadership programs are designed to educate, motivate and activate students, giving them the tools they need to turn their ideas into action and reach their goals. Each program adheres to the five core HOBY values: Volunteerism, Integrity, Excellence, Diversity, and Community Partnership. Congratulations Abram!

Congratulations, Aubrey! You will be a great addition to the Teen Ambassador Board!

Congratulations to Aubrey Stewart as she has been selected to the Teen Ambassador Board. The mission of the Teen Ambassador Board is to provide Ohio’s future leaders with an inside look at Ohio law and government. The Board consists of high school students from around the state. Applicants selected will serve a one-year term and convene twice in Columbus during their tenure on the Board. Members will advise our office on issues relating to teens and work with their peers to develop solutions to those issues. Students will be placed into small groups, advised by an Assistant Attorney General. Members will attend presentations on a wide variety of topics.
Students will also have the opportunity to meet with Ohio Attorney General Andy Wilson, attend events around the state throughout the year, visit our Columbus and regional offices, interact with Assistant Attorneys General, and hear from various elected officials.
