Welcome back, Beavers! I am very excited to see everyone back at school tomorrow! I am posting the specials schedule for each grade level as well as the August/September rotation calendar.

For our new families, the students in our elementary go through a 5 day (color) rotation with their specials classes which include music (m), art (a), physical education (PE), technology (t). They are assigned their special based on the color day for example, Mrs Fantone’s 2nd grade class will have PE every red day, art every orange day, music every yellow day, technology with Mr White on green days and technology with Ms Brown on blue days.

The rotation calendar never skips a color day. We will send home a calendar each month.

Please make sure your child is prepared for PE on their assigned day wearing clothes they can actively move in as well as tennis shoes.

Speed Stacks is trying to break their world record of having the most people sport stacking at multiple locations during the dates of November 18-20, 2025 with a Stack Up! Challenge. Our students participated in this event during their PE time learning the rules and techniques of sport stacking as well as Incorporating stacking challenges and fitness! Sport stacking is a great activity that involves hand-eye coordination, improves reaction time and uses bilateral coordination plus it is a lot of fun!

Wear your red and white tommorrow as we join together to show our support for the Beaver Local Girls Soccer Team as they play at 7 pm in the OHSAA State Semifinal. Beaver Local will meet Columbus Academy in the state semifinal at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Coschocton’s Stewart Field. Let’s flood the school with red and white! Go Beavers!
