Alex Vlasov arrived in the U.S. from Russia without knowing a word of English. Now, as one of five graduating MFA Studio Art candidates in MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY - Art | Art History | Design, he's exhibiting paintings, drawings, and sculptures made from discarded construction materials and found objects in the 2026 MFA Exhibition at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at MSU, on view through May 17.

Congratulations to all recipients including Keir Thomas from AAHD!

Four graduating seniors were awarded this year’s Louis B. Sudler Prize given through the College of Arts & Letters. This award recognizes students' outstanding achievement in the performing and creative arts, including fine arts, music, creative writing, theatre, and electronic/photographic arts.

The 2026 Louis B. Sudler Prize recipients are: Allison Doederlein, Trevor Sullivan, Keir Thomas, and Aaron Young. Congrats!
