After more than two decades of dedication to the BLD Program, Dr. Kathy Hoag is retiring this June. Her dedication to student growth and learning helped prepare thousands of Spartans.

We are proud to recognize three exceptional students from the MSU Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics (BLD) Program who have been awarded for their excellence and dedication. Colton Cunningham received the Outstanding Senior Award for leadership and overall achievement. Jayden Savin & Joseph Macalincag were honored with the Stevens Award for Academic Excellence, recognizing their strong academic performance. Congratulations to all of the recipients!

Congratulations to Class of 2026! 🎓 Years of lab work, late nights, and dedication led to this milestone. We were very proud to welcome BLD alum Meredith Herman (’17) back to campus as the College of Natural Science commencement speaker—an inspiring full‑circle moment and a reminder that this is only the beginning. We look forward to the incredible paths ahead for our BLD graduates, GO GREEN!
