Quick Gmail tip: did you know you can simply drag an in to and it will ask if you also want to "unsubscribe"? You can also use the "Stop sign" icon at the top on a selected or open email (and you can even just hover over an e-mail sometimes) to get an "Unsubscribe" option.

I am a dabbling D.I.Y. homeowner. I enjoy the thought of "sweat equity" and the opportunity to work with my hands -- good way to quiet a "too busy" mind. I also enjoy "solving problems". This weekend, I finished my big home (repair? maintenance? improvement?) project for Summer 2026 (not sure how you would classify this one) -- peeling paint on our otherwise still in good condition aluminum siding.

And, has now added the ability to generate revenues from your videos by tagging products -- you can earn a commission for any sales generated from your videos. So, I put together this 1 minute 45 second video showing my process for repairing the peeling paint on the back of the house.

I am sharing this because I know many in my network are also / / / , and I thought you'd be interested in this new wrinkle that may help monetize your efforts. You simply search the YouTube products listings to tag products in your . I've made a couple videos like this already now, and now I'll see if anything happens. I'll report back at a later date.

Well, I'm using and teaching some AI strategies, so I figured I better offset at least some of this with some solar! I've set up my first patio solar -- will likely expand more in the coming year. This setup plugs right into a standard exterior wall plug and puts power back into your home! I'm putting this out every sunny day I'm working from home -- takes about 2 minutes to set it up and break it down each day. Plus, no major construction or need to get way up high!

The solar panels also can power a solar capable battery (I have one of those too) -- perfect for backup power, RV life, camping, etc. Doing what I can in this crazy age to offset some of my AI and computer power usage. More to come!

Outlook Drag & Drop: I can't believe I didn't have this posted to my channel!

I just realized that I never did a video for my YouTube Channel on how to use "Drag & Drop" to create new task, calendar, and contact items in the newer screen layout in Classic Outlook (now that the functional icons moved from lower left to upper left!) Yeah, that only happened about 4 years ago!
