Due to construction July 1-3 there will be limited access to the 4-H Children's Garden. The temporary entrance to the garden will be at the Bogue street entrance. Restrooms and eating areas will have limited access during this time as well.

Although our butterfly house is closed you can now come and visit us through our new Butterflies in the Garden Virtual Field Trip! You can explore butterfly collections, learn about butterfly anatomy in the lab and much more!

Join us a we celebrate our love for locomotives with the Capital Area Railway Society. Watch trains of all shapes and sizes, help us construct and train village, discover what happens on the tracks and much more.

*** Important Parking Information***
4-H Children's Garden Visitor Parking will be available in the Wharton Center parking ramp (Ramp #3) during construction at the gardens. The fee is $2 per hour. The Wharton ramp requires either payment at the pay stations, or a parking permit, Monday - Friday from 6am until 10pm. Visitors must pay immediately upon parking by walking to one of the pay stations, entering the license plate number of their vehicle, and then their payment. The pay stations accept credit cards or US coin, $1, or $5 bills. The pay stations do not give change back, nor are refunds issued for time paid for, but not used. The ramp is located at 750 E Shaw Ln, East Lansing, MI 48824 and can be accessed using Shaw Lane or Wilson road entrance.

Due the weather in East Lansing this morning we will be canceling the Mad Hatter Tea Party scheduled this morning form 10-noon. We hope to have this event next year.
