Michigan State expands medical studies partnership with Cuba The Cuban Health Ministry agreed with MSU to organize a new two-week course in May 2014. Called "Community Health and Cuban Culture," the class is designed for medical, nursing, public health and health sciences students.

It's about that time again, this Monday at 7:00pm make sure to come out to the MAPS meeting being held in the BPS building! Hope to see you all there!!!
Interested in going to Mexico for Spring Break? Viewing Health Disparities up close? Bruce Lack, Assoc. Director, MSU International Engagement in Mexico(study abroad) gave a presentation at our meeting on Nov 1st about the trip. He is looking for more MAPS members to attend. Looks good on your background when applying to medical schools!!! Respond back by Nov 23rd if your interested!
Students may select from four vibrant Mexican cities for program participation:
Campeche (children, youth and family service agencies)
Mérida (youth, senior citizen, special needs and family service agencies)
Puebla (youth, special needs, and other social service agencies)
Oaxaca (youth)
