A-CAPP's Kari Kammel will serve on the 2020-2021 Anti-Counterfeiting Committee for the International Trademark Association (INTA). As part of this group, she will help develop and advocate the Association’s policy regarding anti-counterfeiting and enforcement issues. The committee will monitor developments in treaties, legislation, regulations and other enforcement mechanisms in various jurisdictions, complete analyses and propose policy recommendations to the Board.

A-CAPP's Kari Kammel, Alina Dewgard, Rob Huguley and
Mike Barger have been collaborating with Michigan State University: MSU Gear's Samantha Ault Stevens and Michigan State University Police Department on Game Day Enforcement, which identifies and stops unauthorized sales of unlicensed MSU gear in "hotspots" near Spartan Stadium on home football game days.
