Registration is now OPEN for 4-H Great Lakes and Natural Resources Camp! Spend the week at Camp Chickagami on beautiful Lake Esau. Learn about the Great Lakes and Michigan’s natural resources through experiential learning opportunities, enjoy recreational sessions including swimming, kayaking, archery, outdoor skills, campfires, and more! Camp is open to youth ages 13-15.

Significant Investments Work to Improve Michigan Water Quality To expand upon existing state water quality efforts, MDARD awarded grant funding to further efforts for improving Michigan Water Quality.

MSU Researcher Receives the 2024 AWRA Honorary Member Award The American Water Resources Association (AWRA) is the primary multidisciplinary association for information exchange, professional development, and education about water resources and related issues.

In partnership with Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development - MDARD, Alliance for the Great Lakes, Fred A. and Barbara M. Erb Family Foundation, and LimnoTech, the MSU IWR is implementing a water quality monitoring program in the Western Lake Erie Basin to help achieve the 40% phosphorus reduction goal.
