CMAA MONDAYS! This past week, GMCMA hosted our student chapter at Meadowbrook Country Club for their First Annual Golf Outing. Our chapter was able to fundraise for World Conference, meet industry professionals, and hang out on the golf course. It was great to see all the professionals seeing each other again and getting a glimpse into their work-life balance. The night ended with a reception thanking eveyone Involved in the event and we was to extend the same thank yous! Thank you GMCMA and Meadowbrook Country Club for this amazing opportunity! Hi CMAA!! Hope everyone’s having a great summer! We’re so excited to get the CMAA school year started and have our first tour in the works!

We’re planning our first club tour at Cascade Hill Country Club and want to get an idea of how many people are interested in coming. The tour takes place on Sunday September 13th and cars leave at 10 am.

We are so thankful for each of these incredible individuals and everything they’ve contributed. Watching their journeys has been inspiring, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s next for them. They all shared that joining CMAA was one of the best decisions they made, and it truly shows. Wishing each of them nothing but success and happiness in the future!

Thank you Country Club of Detroit for an AMAZING final site tour to wrap our CMAA 2025-2026 year! Us students had an incredible time getting to tour your property and learn from the management team. It is always a pleasure to see how so many MSU Hospitality Business alumni are thriving in the industry, and CCD surely encompasses that. What a beautiful club!

I am proud to share our strong CMAA participation in directing and volunteering for the 75th anniversary of Les Gourmets, Michigan State University’s Hospitality Business Premiere Fine Dining Event. What makes this club so special is each and every students passion for service, and that was very apparent tonight. We are so proud to call ourselves CMAA and continue showing up and representing well within the Hospitality Association!

A special recognition goes out to our Advisor, Richard Bruner, and MSU Alumni Allegra Johnson for their continued support and representation not only within CMAA, but the entire Hospitality Business school. It is professors and alumni like you that take our student experience to the next level. We could not be more grateful for your continuous support!

CMAA Chicago Trip 2026! 🏙️💙

This was a great weekend of site tours, education, and growing our professional connections with private clubs in the Chicago area. Thank you to the University Club of Chicago, Riverside Golf Club, Ridgemoor Country Club and Michigan Shores Club for welcoming and showing us your incredible properties! Also thank you to the entire Hospitality Association for supporting this annual event. We had a wonderful time!

This week, students from CMAA got the incredible opportunity to work The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass! Our students represented amongst Ambassadors, Station Attendants, and Server roles working alongside a professional staff team to create an incredible experience for The Players Club and PGA Tour guests. What an incredible week filled with learning, hard work, and dedication to the hospitality craft. We are especially thankful to Nick Herbst, MSU Alum, for giving us the opportunity to be apart of such a wonderful week and event in the world of hospitality!

We are also proud to share MSU took home the “Golden-TEE” trophy for the second year in a row, truly showing our commitment and passion to this event and the hospitality industry!! We are already looking forward to next year 🏌️💙🥳
