Students at Marble receive a well-rounded education based on a technology-integrated academic curriculum with an emphasis on differentiated instructional practices that meet the varying needs and interests of all of our students. Marble rounds out its full academic program with students receiving daily rich instructional time in the specialized academic areas of music, art, STEM literacy, and physical education, all vital parts of a balance in a young person's educational experience. Marble School Community Council’s mission is to support all avenues that engage and enrich our children’s academic, social and emotional experiences, and thus, their core memories while students at Marble Elementary School. MSCC works alongside Marble School teachers, support staff, parents & caregivers to create a supportive and nurturing school environment. Marble School Community Council’s role is also to assist in fundraising for Marble School, providing funds for teachers’ classroom needs, field trip subsidies, classroom snacks, and so much more. In addition to prioritizing support of an academically rich environment, MSCC is devoted to all students' health, wellness, and belonging by striving for an inclusive and socially-just elementary school experience. This is essential to cultivating a safe and well community where our students can learn and grow into their greatest potential as world citizens. Marble School Community Council will meet during the academic year on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7 PM in the Marble Media Center. Please note that all community members with a student at Marble are automatically members of the Marble School Community Council and may exercise a vote on every issue raised at our meetings.

Marble students and staff worked together this school year to collect recyclables and donations which were turned into two beautiful benches on the Marble playground that will be dedicated in memory of former Marble student, Charlie Waller, who was a member of the Class of 2026. We are excited to welcome members of the community to celebrate Charlie's impact on Marble and East Lansing during his short life.

WE MADE IT, THE LAST MSCC MEETING OF THE YEAR IS THIS EVENING! Join us at 6:30pm in the media center or on zoom. We will be voting on board members for next year. And don’t forget about Mileage Club Family night happening right before the meeting at 5:30!
