CLS offers online language and culture programs for children, preschoolers, preteens, teens and adul Our program goals are to:
1.

create awareness among schools and parents about the importance of early language acquisition and appreciation of other cultures;
2. introduce and motivate children to language learning and achieve cultural awareness and at least minimal language proficiency;
3. offer alternative learning and teaching opportunities;
4. provide a training venue for pre- and in-service teachers and those who seek pr

The Community Language School (CLS) will be on hiatus starting at the beginning of the 2023 fall semester; and the future of CLS will be reevaluated this coming year. We sincerely hope that CLS will be able to re-emerge at a future date as we truly believe in the transformative power of not-for-credit language education for all.
