Today marks the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), signed into law on July 26, 1990.
The ADA is a landmark civil rights law that helps protect the rights of people with disabilities by prohibiting discrimination and promoting equal access to employment, education, transportation, public spaces, and more.
As we celebrate Disability Pride Month, we reflect and honor the progress made through the ADA while reaffirming our commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and belonging. Together, we can continue building a campus where every Spartan has the opportunity to learn, work, and thrive.
