We are pleased to announce the 2023 MSU Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems (SAFS) Seminar Series! Six seminars will be held on Fridays 12:40 – 1:30 pm in Anthony Hall room 1135 (across the hall from the MSU Dairy Store). We welcome you to join us for snacks and social time before the seminar at 12:10PM.
Our first speaker is this Friday, February 3rd. Dr. Bruno Basso of the Plant Soil and Microbial Science Department will be speaking on "Digital Agriculture to Design and Scale Sustainable Agriculture".

The Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems program at MSU, in association with the Capital Area Food Council, is gathering information on historical food retailers in Lansing. Do you remember or know of any grocery or food retailers in Lansing that no longer exist, and what they sold (general, produce, meats, canned, bakery, or other items)? We appreciate dates (approximate is OK), cultural or ethnic community connections, location information, and media such as pictures or advertisements! We look forward to your comments below.
