Congratulations to the seven Michigan State University College of Arts & Letters faculty awarded Humanities and Arts Research Program (HARP) funding, with support from the MSU Research Foundation!

"The Humanities and Arts Research Program highlights the importance of creativity and scholarship in shaping our understanding of the world," said David Washburn, CEO of the MSU Research Foundation.

This year's recipients are undertaking a variety of projects, from linguistic research to traveling art exhibitions. Congratulations to Silvina Bongiovanni, Jon Keune, Robin Silbergleid, d'Ann de Simone, Ryan Claytor, Chris Corneal, and Rocio Quispe-Agnoli.

Foundation Professor Sue Rhee Among MSU Researchers Tackling Global Food Challenges with NSF Support — Michigan State University Research Foundation 01/21/2025

Did you know Michigan State University was recently named one of six Global Centers by the US National Science Foundation, with total funding of nearly $82 million?

"MSU's International Research Center provides a unique opportunity to connect researchers across several continents to solve global food challenges," said Seung Yon "Sue" Rhee, an MSU Research Foundation Professor in the College of Natural Science and director of MSU's Plant Resilience Institute.

Foundation Professor Sue Rhee Among MSU Researchers Tackling Global Food Challenges with NSF Support — Michigan State University Research Foundation MSU has been selected as one of six institutions to lead an $82 million NSF-funded Global Center, with its International Research Center for Enhancing Plant Resilience focusing on genomics and plant resilience to address food insecurity.

Today, we're featuring portfolio company Will Winn Games. Born out of the Michigan State University Game Development program and incubated by the MSU Research Foundation, this startup has launched two games:

🏴‍☠️ Plunder Panic: A swashbuckling action arcade adventure
💥 Blastball All Stars: A multiplayer sports action game

Will Winn Games also gives back to MSU by offering employment, mentorship, and guidance to students in the game design programs, fostering the next generation of talent.
