Summer Highlights ☀️ | Part 1 of 3

As we wrap up the summer, and look towards fall, here’s a few of our favorite GreenHouse summer memories! First up: our 4-day getaway to Clymer, NY to kick off the summer!

17 GreenHousers spent the weekend together, with our first stop being a tour of the USS Cod Submarine. It was pretty cool to explore a real WWII submarine and see the crew’s real-life eating and sleeping quarters! ⚓️

Saturday brought some not-so-great weather, but the awesome Airbnb we had gave us plenty of room to make the most of it! We spent the day relaxing inside, playing lots of board games, working on a puzzle, and enjoying plenty of time in the hot tub. 🧩🎲

The next day, we did a hike, checked out Historic Midway State Park, the oldest continuously operating amusement park in the country complete with an arcade, and hopped aboard the Chautauqua Belle for a steamboat tour of Lake Chautauqua. 🎢🚢

And the adventure continued on the drive home! We stopped in the village of Little Hope and made a very GreenHouse-appropriate stop at the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse. 🌱

Four days, 17 friends, lots of laughs, and plenty of memories—a pretty great way to kick off the summer! 💚

As we start to wrap up GreenHouse for the summer, we want to take a moment to look back on a special night this spring as we reflected on all the ways God has been moving through GreenHouse 🌳

We celebrated a baptism 💧, honored our seniors 🎓, and heard stories of how God has been at work in the lives of both the college students and the young professionals in our community 🙌

It was such a meaningful evening reflecting on all God has done in and through this community over the past season ❤️ We can't wait to see what He has in store as we prep for this fall.

P.S. Huge shoutout to all those who helped make the event happen, especially the guys who spent an hour hauling hot water trying to warm up the baptismal… only for it to still be a polar plunge 😂🥶💧

🎤 Join us tonight as Pastor Dave brings a teaching, followed by discussion groups where we’ll process what we learned, ask questions, and talk about how to apply it to our lives.

We’ll wrap up around 9pm, but stick around afterward for brownies, ice cream, and a competitive game of spoons.
