In Pharm Tox, we are committed to developing shared facilities that expand research opportunities for our team. Our new cell culture core is a great example of this teamwork. This core was specifically designed to facilitate research using organoids and stem cells. Huge thanks to Heather DeFeijter-Rupp, the College of Human Medicine, the Department of Medicine, and several faculty members for helping to make this happen. We can’t wait to see the research this facilitates.

Congratulations to the Park Lab on their new publication in Advanced Science. Sangbum and his team discovered that two distinct lineages of Langerhans cells work together to rapidly restore and maintain epidermal immunity after skin injury, with CXCR2 serving as a key regulator of this process (PMID: 42523076).
