A MSU student group working for the recognition of a spectrum of gender and sexual identities rather than a binary gender and sexual identity.

This week, coming off of our collaboration with Spectrum in watching Kinsey, Beyond Binaries will be collaborating with Trans*Action and co-hosting a meeting on Thursday.
"Exploring the Sexual Orientation of Trans* Persons: A discussion on assumptions that are made about sexual orientation of Trans* Persons and their partners"
More details to come as the date draws closer!
The San Francisco Human Rights Commission's LGBT Advisory Committee just released a 47 page document titled 'Bisexual Invisibility:Impacts and Recommendations'.

8 February 2011 @ 7:30 pm, in the LGBT Resource Center, Beyond Binaries is having Elections for Council members and to Support the New Constitution! Come out TONIGHT and be a part of MSU's youngest LGBTIQQA campus organization!
As Beyond Binaries had to postpone elections last week, we would like to re-issue a call for candidates, asking that any interested parties in sitting on the 5 member Council please email their wish to join to [email protected] by Monday night at 6 pm. Elections will be on Tuesday at the LGBT Resource Center!
With the Weather Warning and tomorrow's University Closing, Beyond Binaries is postponing tonight's meeting until a later date.

Tomorrow at 7:30, Beyond Binaries is having it's second meeting of the semester! We will be at Bubble Island, at 515 East Grand River, East Lansing, having a social meeting, with discussion of the upcoming constitutional ratification, & other community issues.
On Jan. 18 2011, Beyond Binaries will meet at 7:30 pm, in room E118 Library, all interested parties are welcome!
Our first meeting of the year will focus on diversity and multiplicity of identities, as well as a brainstorming for future meetings, and an announcement of constitutional ratification. Everyone is welcome!
Thank you everyone who attended the planning meeting on the 7th, it was lovely to see you there! We're hoping that exams are going well, and hope that stress is low and anticipation high for winter break! Have a Happy and Safe Winter Break!
