For more than 50 years this publically funded program has provided academic enrichment to thousands congress as the Higher Education Act of 1965.
The Upward Bound program at Michigan State University is a part of the Trio Programs established by the U.S. For more than forty years this federally funded program has provided academic enrichment to hundreds of high school youth in the Lansing area from low-income families and or families in which neither parent holds a bachelor’s degree. Please consider donating to help the Upward Bound program at University of Houston-Downtown students and their families. They have been horribly affected by the hurricane and floods and are in need of clothing and school supplies. This is open to our entire community (UB students have the potential to receive community service credit).
