Alliance for African Partnership (AAP) is a consortium of Michigan State University and African institutions focused on addressing Africa's shared challenges through building bridges, transforming institutions, and transforming lives. The Alliance for African Partnership is a new initiative at Michigan State University that will develop a collaborative and cross-disciplinary platform for addressing today’s global challenges. The Alliance will innovate new models of engagement for shared research, while enhancing the resources and capacities of African universities, institutions and scholars.

🌍Meet the fourth cohort of the COIL Faculty Fellows Program-Africa!

MSU's Center for Global Learning & Innovation, AAP, the African Studies Center (ASC), and the Tanzania Partnership Program (TPP) are pleased to announce the selected teams for the fourth cohort of the COIL Faculty Fellows Program-Africa!

The program provides teaching faculty across disciplines with an opportunity to explore Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) and engage students in global learning experiences.

From approximately 50 interested faculty members, ten teams have been selected, representing a mix of bilateral and trilateral COIL projects.

Mapping the Partnership Landscape: Teaching, Research and Public Service Across AAP Member Universities brings together institutional case studies from across the AAP consortium, exploring approaches to teaching, research, public service, and institutional transformation.

Our latest issue features perspectives from member universities across the consortium. The dialogue will highlight key findings from the publication and explore how partnerships can support institutional transformation, collaboration, and peer learning. The session will also include audience engagement and interactive polling.
