π Thank You, Mrs. Jones! π
Congratulations to Mrs. Jones as she retires after more than 25 years of service to the STA community.
For 10 of those years, Mrs. Jones served as a lead preschool teacher, nurturing, guiding, and inspiring our youngest learners. She then stepped into the role of Preschool Director, where she continued to shape the hearts and minds of countless children while supporting families and staff along the way.
Mrs. Jones has been a steady presence, a caring leader, and a loving influence in the lives of so many students. Her impact extends far beyond the classroom, and the seeds she planted in our preschool program will continue to grow for years to come.
Her legacy will live on as the STA community thanked her in a big way, surprising her with the Joan Jones Prayer and Learning Garden! While we will miss seeing her smiling face in our halls, we are so grateful for the dedication, compassion, and love she has shared with the STA community over the years.
Please join us in thanking Mrs. Jones for her incredible service and wishing her a retirement filled with joy, relaxation, and time spent with her grandbabies. Congratulations, Mrs. Jones, you will always be a part of the STA family! π

Field day fun! Thursday was a fantastic day of fun, teamwork, and school spirit at STA! βοΈπ
Our K-7 students enjoyed an action-packed Field Day filled with inflatables, a dunk tank, three-legged races, relay competitions, and so much more. One of the best parts of the day was seeing our amazing 7th graders step into leadership roles as team captains, guiding teams made up of students from every grade level and helping make the day a success for everyone.
The excitement continued in the afternoon with our annual Student vs. Staff Volleyball Game. The 7th graders gave it their all, but the teachers and priests came ready to play and successfully defended their title with a dominant victory! ππ
Meanwhile, our preschoolers had a blast at Water Day! From face painting and temporary tattoos to water tables, games, popsicles, and plenty of splashing fun, there were smiles everywhere.
To top it all off, the whole school enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch from Bell's Greek Pizza in East Lansing! ππ¦
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make these special end-of-year celebrations possible. Days like these remind us that some of the best school memories are made outside the classroom!
