Welcome to Red Cedar Elementary!

We are delighted to welcome Shannon to our school community as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Red Cedar Elementary this fall. β€οΈπŸŽπŸ“š

With over 11 years of experience as a school speech therapist, Shannon brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our district. Her dedication to helping students of all ages and abilities has positively impacted countless lives throughout her career.

One of Shannon's greatest strengths is her ability to establish meaningful connections with students and their families. Shannon often has the privilege of working with the same student for multiple years, witnessing their growth and progress in communication and speech skills. As a result, she takes immense pride in truly understanding the unique needs and goals of each individual she works with.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Shannon has a fulfilling personal life. She has been happily married to her husband for 11 years and together, they have two wonderful children aged 6 and 7. Their family also includes a lovable dog named Scout and a mischievous cat named Klinker. Exploring the outdoors is a favorite pastime for Shannon and her family, whether biking, swimming, gardening, or taking leisurely walks.

In addition to her love for the great outdoors, Shannon is also a 2nd-degree black belt in karate! Her determination and commitment extend beyond her professional life as she continues to pursue personal goals with the same passion she brings to her work.

We are truly fortunate to have Shannon join our staff. We do not doubt that her expertise, compassion, and genuine care for students will make a significant difference in their lives.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Shannon as she becomes a valued member of our school community this fall. β€οΈπŸŽπŸ“š
