In the spring of 2026, Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared September 21-25, 2026 as PFAS Awareness Week. Throughout this week, there will be multiple PFAS-related events located around the state and online, including two events hosted at MSU.

For day 3 of PFAS Awareness Week, we are sharing two infographics highlighting the Eat Safe Fish Guide from Michigan’s Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The first graphic was created by Deil Manliclic, a PhD student in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. The second graphic was created by Hannah Gill and Sarah Menzl, both of whom are master’s students in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife.
