Meet Olivia T., a 9th grader at Great Lakes Learning Academy! 🌟
Olivia joined our school this semester looking for a supportive learning environment where she could work at her own pace and reduce school-related anxiety. She loves the flexibility of learning from her planner and appreciates a manageable workload that helps her thrive without feeling rushed. 📚✨
When she's not focused on school, Olivia spends time pursuing her passion for horseback riding. Through a local horse arena, she volunteers 3 to 4 times a week helping care for 25 horses and, in return, receives riding lessons. It's the perfect opportunity to spend time doing what she loves most! 🐴💜
Olivia is also a proud big sister to six siblings, helps out on her family's farm, and spends several hours each week training her 5-month-old pup, Onyx, to become a multipurpose psychiatric and medical service dog. 🐶🤍
Between school, farm life, horse care, and training a future service dog, Olivia stays busy. Thankfully, with Onyx by her side, she's taking it all in stride and proving that dedication, determination, and a little flexibility can go a long way! 🌟💜
