Graduate Certification in Community Engagement is a three-part, non-credit professional development program for MSU graduate students--at any level, in any department, any college. Once a student completes the three requirements, they earn an official credential on their academic transcripts. The program is designed with flexibility in mind, so that graduate students can dovetail this program with their degree requirements and life commitments. Congratulations to MSU PLS Associate Professor Marty Jordan on being named as a Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) NEXT Fellow for 2026-2027. Dr. Jordan is Director of MSU PLS Master of Public Policy program.

NASPAA NEXT 2026-2027 is a prestigious yearlong leadership development program for early career faculty in public service education.
"We are thrilled to welcome you to this dynamic community of scholars and changemakers!"

As a Fellow, Dr. Jordan will attend a kickoff workshop in Seattle, attend a variety of workshops and participate in the NASPAA NEXT Workshop in Kansas City.
