East Jordan Elementary Artists are on the move!
If you’re looking for something to do over spring break get out and enjoy some art at some amazing art centers! There are 2 opportunities to see and support your EJES Artists:

1. Jordan River Arts Council in East Jordan
Mrs. Kerr’s 4th grade art students worked with local artist Pat Tinney to create their own unique deep sea creatures for her H2O show that is happening now through May 2nd. Their works are among the other amazing working artists who submitted work for the show as well.

2. Crooked Tree Arts Center in Downtown Petoskey
72 artists this year are representing EJES at the annual CTAC Youth Art Show! Each work our artists created are representative of the artist and their own unique individual art styles. This is a great show that showcases all of the local youth art from area schools so get out there and be inspired! This show runs March 19th- May 2nd.

A big thank you to all of the young EJES artists who have taken these opportunities to share their art and creativity with the world! If you’re able, get out there and support! 🎨🖌️🖼️

The stage is now all set for our concerts thanks to the help of our awesome custodians. The back drops look great thanks to some of our 5th and 6th grade students under the guidance of Katie Mankvitz. With Daniel Ziebarth as our sound guy and Gwen Christiansen Sarya leading our students we are ready for showtime starting Monday night at 6:00 p.m.☃️🎅🤶🎄 Come on out Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights for some fun concerts.

We are so excited to see our East Jordan Elementary students shine at our upcoming concerts this week! K/1 Monday, 2/3 Tuesday and 4th/5th Gr. Electives/Choir Wednesday night. Each concert starts at 6:00 p.m. with students reporting to their classrooms at 5:45.

The stage is set and ready to go! K-1 concert on Monday, 2-3 concert on Tuesday and choir-4-5 on Wednesday. All concerts will start at 6 p.m. We can't wait for you to see our students perform!
