☀️💙✝️ Today marks the start of another incredible summer at St. Mary’s Parish Vacation Bible School!

For generations, VBS has been a place where faith, friendship, music, games, crafts, and unforgettable memories come together. Each summer, hundreds of children gather on the parish grounds to grow in their faith while having the time of their lives.

One of the things that makes VBS so special is the St. Mary community behind it. Current SMS students and alumni return year after year as campers and counselors, sharing their time, talents, and faith with the next generation. Many SMS parents volunteer as helpers, creating a truly special experience for everyone involved.

A heartfelt thank you to Jessica Burns Otto and the entire VBS planning team for the countless hours of hard work, dedication, and love that make this cherished tradition possible each and every summer. Your commitment has created a program that continues to touch the lives of so many children and families.

To all of our SMS campers, counselors, parent volunteers, and families—we wish you two wonderful weeks filled with laughter, new friendships, lasting memories, and opportunities to grow closer to Jesus.

💙💛 A Special Celebration for Three Extraordinary Educators 💙💛

Surrounded by friendship, gratitude, and many cherished memories, we recently celebrated the retirements of three beloved members of the St. Mary School family:

Together, they have dedicated countless years to nurturing minds, inspiring hearts, and living out the mission of Catholic education. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom and will continue to be felt for generations to come.

Thank you for the love, faith, guidance, and unwavering commitment you have shared with our students, families, and school community. While you will be deeply missed, we are so grateful for the legacy you leave behind.

Today we celebrate two remarkable educators whose dedication and service have left a lasting impact on the St. Mary School community.

Mrs. Kellie DeRosa, our middle school math teacher, has inspired generations of students in grades 7 and 8 with her knowledge, patience, and commitment to helping every student succeed.

Mrs. Anne O’Neill, our dedicated Resource Room teacher, has touched countless lives through her compassion, encouragement, and unwavering support of students and families.

Together, they have helped shape the hearts, minds, and futures of so many children while embodying the faith-filled mission of St. Mary School.

As they begin their well-deserved retirement, we thank them for their years of service and wish them happiness, good health, and many wonderful adventures ahead.
