Thank you so much for a memorable evening at the Mayor Joseph A. Carfora Merit Awards. I am deeply humbled and honored to be recognized among such an incredible group of individuals who tirelessly work to improve our community every day.

I want to express my heartfel gratitude to my parents DeeDee Manna DiCrosta and Bill DiCrosta who instilled in me the values of strong family bonds, a diligent work ethic, and the belief that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. I am equally grateful to my ride or dies, my partners in crime, Neil Fuentes and Gina Helland—whose dedication and passion inspire me daily and our fantastic team we get to work with.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my former teacher and mentor, Elizabeth M. Franco-Spano, whom I am blessed to call my friend today. Her early inspiration and guidance have profoundly impacted my life, and I continually look to her for inspiration in my journey to be the best teacher I can be.

Last but certainly not least a special thank you also goes to our remarkable New Haven Academy of Performing Arts and Cabaret On Main Theater family. Your support and belief in our mission allow us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children we are entrusted with. It truly takes a village, and I am proud to be part of this collective effort. Thank you all for being part of this journey with me.

The Great Give is only 1 Week Away! As we gear up for this year's Great Give 2024, we want to share with you the essence of what makes Broadway on Main so special and why your support is crucial. Our theater programming , nestled in an intimate space with just 105 seats, is a sanctuary for performers and artisans of all backgrounds. Here, creativity knows no bounds, and diversity is celebrated in every production.

Yet, the reality of producing quality theater comes with significant costs, ones that cannot be met through ticket sales alone. It's your generosity and support that enable us to continue our programming, touching the lives of countless individuals in our community and beyond.

Our commitment goes beyond the stage. We strive to make theater accessible to all, regardless of financial means. Local school groups are invited to join us at rehearsal sessions and scholarships are awarded to youth in need of financial assistance, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to experiencing the magic of theater. Moreover, through partnerships with organizations focused on mental health and drama therapy, we are harnessing the healing power of the arts to promote well-being and understanding.

Each production we undertake is not just a performance, but a catalyst for change. We believe in fostering in*******al and cross-cultural understanding, sparking conversations that lead to positive transformation in our society.

At the core of our mission is the belief in the transformative power of theater education and performance. Through our scholarship program, we are breaking down financial barriers, ensuring that every aspiring artist has the opportunity to pursue their dreams in a supportive, bilingual environment.

We invite you to join us on this journey as we unite communities and inspire a brighter future through the power of theater. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve and the impact we make.

What a phenomenal day it was yesterday! It reaffirmed my belief that theater truly enriches my life in the most amazing ways! Starting the day with a voice master class for a talented group of high school juniors and seniors at the Connecticut Drama Association Festival was such an honor. Their passion and dedication was truly inspiring. And then, to cap off the day, witnessing Erin Palmer's incredible performance as Scuttle in Lights Up Drama Club's production of Little Mermaid was an absolute delight! The energy and talent on stage was breathtaking! But what truly warmed my heart was seeing the overwhelming support from our New Haven Academy of Performing Arts community for Erin. The love and encouragement from our kids and parents was the cherry on top of an already unforgettable day! It's moments like these that remind me why the arts are so vital and thriving in Connecticut. Feeling incredibly grateful to be a part of something truly special.
