CREC Academy of Computer Science & Engineering Middle School Welcome to the Academy of Computer Science and Engineering Middle School!

Two Rivers is focused on providing students an environment where social justice is for all students while embedding an academic focus of environmental science. With the school building situated at the confluence of the Hockanum and Connecticut Rivers, our location creates an ideal environment for students to engage in real world field experiences. Students at Two Rivers are assessed within a grade

level standards based approach, providing both students and their families two distinctly different reports consistently throughout the course of the school year that focus on the acquisition of successful academic habits as well as reports indicating a students progress on grade level standards in all classes. Extracurricular activities are an integral part of the middle school experience and here at Two Rivers, students are provide the opportunity to find an area they are passionate about and explore whether that is with the Arts (Band/Instrumental ensembles, Chorus, Drama Club, Show Choir), Sports (Cross Country, Girls Volleyball, Boys and Girls Soccer/Basketball/Indoor Track/Outdoor Track, Softball or Baseball), or Clubs (Gaming, Chess, Science Bowl, Roblox/Minecraft, Nature, Walking, Healthy Cooking, Drawing, Diversi Tea, and many more). Two Rivers is the largest MS within the CREC/RSCO system, providing twice the number of seats for incoming students, doubling a families chances of entering the magnet system.

⚡ The Hero's Quest Reading Challenge Results Are In! ⚡
Congratulations to all of our Reading Heroes who participated in this year's Hero's Quest Reading Challenge!
🏆 Our Overall TAC Champion is Mrs. Rank's TAC 252, which earned the highest total participation points in the entire competition. Their teamwork helped lead them to victory!
🛡️ The Reluctant Hero Award goes to Armani Ortiz (8B) for stepping outside of his comfort zone and embracing the challenge – he earned 65 points!
⭐ Grade 8: Sarah Johnson (8A), who earned an incredible 75+ points during the competition.
⭐ Grade 7: Abraham Paerdomo-Pared (7B) earning over 55 points
⭐ Grade 6: Leah Christian (6A), who battled her own brother from 6b – but won in the end with over 125 points.
