12 of our scholars traveled to Rocky Neck State Park to compete in the state Envirothon competition. Our scholars competed against 36 teams from some of the top-rated schools in the state, and our seniors placed 3rd overall, winning 1st place in the Aquatics category! What makes their success even more remarkable is that several of the top finishing schools offer Envirtothon preparation as a class, while our scholars are putting in the work after school.

Congratulate Mikaela, Ryan, Alex, Dominique, and Zoe, and a special thank you to Mr. Borger and Ms. Moyer for guiding this group strategically, sustaining their interest, bringing in guest experts, and making the learning experiential and fun.
