I am an alumni of the . It was my home away from home, and I spent hours upon hours gadding about in a black leotard and black tights- our dress code.

I have recently returned to the as an instructor, and, for the first time in many a year, I am back in black. I have been welcomed home.

It was National Tap Dance Day!
I'm a day late but...

A little messing around in the studio. My sound is a bit raggedy. Still rehabbing the foot I fractured, but happy to be back at it!

Some black gaffing tape is all that was needed to turn these candy canes into black canes for a tap number.

When the show is over, the tape can be removed and the props re-used.

Necessity is the mother of invention, after all.

Capitalism lies and tells us competition breeds creativity. Not so. Instead it creates an atmosphere of false urgency, a fervor underlined with fear and greed, that FEELS like necessity. But more on that another time.
