How is everyone's summer going? Are your orchids doing well? We'd love to hear from those of you that keep them outdoors, especially with all the heat we had.

We will start our monthly meetings again beginning on Saturday September 12th!

Something new we will be doing on Facebook is a "Member Spotlight!" Let's get to know each other a little better. If you would like to be included, send us a message. We'd love to showcase you. Another way is to nominate a fellow club member, also through messenger. Stay tuned...

Saturday June 27th was our Annual Members Picnic. It was held at Allen's Harbor in NK. Thank you to everyone who attended.

A special shout out to Riley's dad for volunteering to be our Grill master. He started the stubborn briquettes and expertly cooked different proteins. He had a lot of fun with all of us.

As usual, tons of interesting and delicious food. The deserts were to die for!!

The grow and show was very impressive! See a couple pictures of the orchids below.

Our new President, Katerina, had members play an orchid trivia game. Lots of fun, especially as ‘teams’ got eliminated. Kathy D. won the prize. A cute little phal.

Catch the beach ball in an oversized clown like pants with a hoop was one of the other games we played. That was quite hysterical!

The day wrapped up by 8:00 pm. And the ‘bugs’ did not bother us.

The picnic was so much fun and we had lots of laughs.

Enjoy the rest of your summer. We'll see you in September!

Thank you to everyone who attended the Member Orchid Auction & Plant sale this past Saturday.

We had 80 plants and lots of orchid supplies and items available. Everything went to a new home except one plant.

It was a great way to end the season! 😊💐
