School Construction Pushes on with Scheduled Weekend Work

LeftField, the Towns Owner Project Manager (OPM) has released a notification that Consigli Construction plans to have crews working at Hanaford Elementary School, Frenchtown Elementary School, and East Greenwich High School on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The planned activities for each site are outlined below:

Hanaford Elementary School
Saturday, August 22, 2026 | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Consigli: Site supervision
• H. Carr: 10 workers continuing framing and sheathing in all zones
• Yardworks: 3–5 workers continuing playground installation
• DiGregorio: Playground area
• Greenwood: Roofing
• Preparations for start of school

East Greenwich High School
Saturday, August 22, 2026 | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Consigli: Site supervision
• H. Carr: 2–3 workers: Interior addition framing and electrical rough-in
• 2–3 workers: Ongoing Cleaning the Upper Gym and area
• 4–5 workers: Locker room renovations and Wall frames
• Preparations for start of school

Frenchtown Elementary School
Saturday, August 22, 2026 | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Consigli: Site supervision
• H. Carr: 10 workers framing exterior walls and Sheathing
• DiGregorio: 3 workers performing site work, including excavation for drainage improvements. Prep for SOG
• Preparations for start of school

Work is continuing on schedule with many site improvements to be completed in the coming days in anticipation of the start of school.

As the school year comes to a close, school and town officials recently toured our current construction sites - East Greenwich High School, Frenchtown Elementary School, and Hanaford Elementary School. We can’t wait to see the progress that will be made over the summer!
