Many thanks to Dave Thompson and Monsanto! Representatives from DeKalb and Asgrow (Monsanto companies) were present at our March Meeting to generously donate $2,500 in Dave Thompson’s name on behalf of the “Growing Rural Communities” Initiative. This is given to 1 farmer per county per year for programs that benefit rural communities. Approximate 89,000 farmers have submitted causes nationwide.

And Dave chose the East Grand Forks Education Foundation! Thank you, Dave! We can't wait to "pay it forward"!!

2014 was a GREAT year for the Foundation! Lots of new members, including the teachers of ISD #595 thanks to the EGFEA donation of memberships for each teacher. We were able to grant some great requests and now onto an even better 2015.

Haven't joined yet or someone who has not joined us, spread the word and help us "pay it forward" for another year!!

Amy McDonald (NH) - $573.35 – Kindergarten Seat Sacks and Leveled Reading books
Katie Nelson (NH) - $1,000 – Kindergarten Backpack Leveled reading books in Science, Social Science and Math
Cory Chupka (CMS) - $600 – Middle School Weight Training Equipment
DyAnn Stordahl, Trista Schrage, and Kelly Clifton (EGF PreK) - $884.03 – Curriculum enhancing manipulatives for preschoolers
