Heavenly Father,

Tonight, our halls are quiet and empty. Tomorrow, they will be filled with our students, teachers, laughter, learning, and all the busyness of a new school year.

Thank You for bringing us to this moment. We pray for every student who will walk through our doors tomorrow. Calm any nervous hearts and give them excitement for what is ahead.

Be with our teachers and staff. Give them patience, wisdom, and energy. Watch over our families as we begin another year together.

Lord, protect our school and everyone in it. Help us to remember why we are here. Learn. Grow. Serve. And point others toward You.

We give You this school year.

☀️ Senior Sunrise! The RCS Class of 2027 started their final year together with breakfast, fellowship, and a beautiful sunrise. What a great way to begin this special year and celebrate all that God has in store!

❤ Our RCS staff completed CPR/AED/First Aid re-certification this afternoon (a few went through it for the first time). We’re thankful to have a staff that is prepared to care for our students and respond in an emergency.

👟RAMS Cross Country officially began practices last week, but our runners have been putting in the miles all summer! Their first meet is Saturday, August 28, in Perham, MN. The meet is open to athletes in 7th grade & above and will be the first opportunity for our RAMS to put their hard work to the test. We’re excited to see them hit the course and set the tone for the season ahead! Let's Go RAMS!

As we begin a new school year, we’re excited to live out our 2026–27 Theme Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:10–14.

A reminder to encourage one another, build each other up, live in peace, and faithfully walk alongside one another.

🎉 Welcome Back RCS Staff!

The halls are officially coming back to life! We kicked off the day with some professional development and are so excited to have our amazing staff back in the building.

Led by Lead Principal Fulcher and K-8 Principal Bochenski, the morning also included a helpful discussion on speech/dyslexia with Speech-Language Pathologist Cassie Anderson, MS, CCC-SLP.

This afternoon, they’re busy getting their classrooms ready for our students, who arrive next Wednesday!

We’re getting closer and we can’t wait to welcome our RAMS back!

🏐 Volleyball practice officially started yesterday at Grace Baptist Church! We’re excited to see what this season has in store for our RAMS!

Our season opener is Thursday, August 27th, against Crookston. We’ll have two middle school games beginning at 4:00 PM.

📍 All RCS “home” volleyball games are held at Grace Baptist Church in Grand Forks. We’re so grateful to Grace for generously sharing their gym with us. Thank you for supporting our RAMS!
