What an amazing start to the new school year! Smiles and joy in every part of the school. These scholars stepped up their "return game" with such a level of help and support- to their classmates and their teachers. I'm amazed with their hearts, they wear them on the outside of their bodies at all times. They look for someone who is sitting alone, who could join their game, who needs a word of encouragement! Amazing! I, and you, are so proud of them!

Today our 8th graders, the WRVS Class of 2027, gifted an apple to each of our kindergarteners, the WRVS Class of 2035, to welcome them to Waits River Valley School. This is a yearly tradition at WRVS, while recognizing the last first day at WRVS for the 8th graders, and the first, of many first days to come for the kindergarteners.

What an amazing Ice Cream Social and Open House! There is nothing better than having a school full of children- and then add their amazing families- and the best staff on earth! Well, it's a recipe for the perfect night- with sprinkles on top! We can't wait to see everyone on Wednesday morning- BRING ON THE BUSES! xoxox

Tomorrow night's the night.... WRVS famous Ice Cream Social and Open House! 5:30-7:00 (likely start ice cream at 6:00, on the playground). We can't wait to see you...School starts Wednesday- 3 more sleeps....then the buses are rolling in, YAY!

See you tomorrow night- don't forget your paperwork so you can be put into the drawings.

Please Note:
WRVS After School program is FULL- we have been yielding applications for the last month. Our Vermont Licensed program requires 1:13 staffing ratio- we are maxed based on the number of staff. We will notify you if any openings become available.
First day of before school care (7:30-8:00- this is NOT an option for PreK- their licensing does not allow this )and after school programming is AUGUST 31st- Monday. We are NOT able to offer either of these for the first three days of school.
