We love having story time outside!

There are so many things that help with reading readiness. This is just one but do you know that alternating feet while going up and down stairs is also an indicator of reading readiness? How about being able to skip or rhyming words? Reading is complex and letter identification is a very minor prerequisite.

Things I say out loud:

It's a big monster. You can both eat the monster. There's enough for two small boys to share.

We set our 6 butterflies free! 1 more hatched this morning and wasn't ready to fly yet and another one just started to hatch so we will release those another day. We put the one with the wonky wing on the flowering plant.

8:56am. The toddlers are arguing because more than one of them likes the same Disney Princess.

Me: More than one person can like the same Princess. No one owns the Princesses except Walt Disney.

We now have 6 butterflies! We watched them flap their wings. We even saw one p**p! The p**p is red. (Yes, this was the highlight from today's observations!😂).
